A week ago Last Weds. I awoke with numbness in my left hand and a warm feeling down my entire left side.

Due to a previous herniated disk in my neck, that causes numbness in my hand , I assumed that I had slept in a bad position.

By evening, I realized that this warmth was actually a slight numbness and went to the Emergency room, fearing that it may be a stroke.

An MRI head scan showed a small blockage in the brain – causing a small stroke.

As my Doctor put it: “You’ve had a Major Medical event but thankfully with fairly minor consequences!”

I was released from the hospital on Saturday.
