WASHINGTON, D.C. — While most high school seniors prepare for prom, graduation, and college life, ten Ohio students squared off with school administrators over their first amendment right to free speech. Facing suspension, Kristen Norman and 9 of her friends stood up for their right to wear pro-life t-shirts to school.

“We stand behind the peaceful pro-life message that these students will present on National Pro-life T-shirt Day,” said Andrew Flusche, staff attorney for American Life League. “Unfortunately, schools like Anthony Wayne High School in Ohio might try to censor pro-life students. American Life League is at-the-ready to help students in any way that we can.”

The black T-shirts bore the phrase “Abortion is Homicide” in bold white letters.  While Anthony Wayne High School administrators declined comment, the students indicated that they have been in touch with the St. Thomas More Law Center and may pursue legal action…
