America’s top military officer said on Friday that a rocket North Korea plans to launch next month has a range that could possibly reach Hawaii.
Asked if the North Korean rocket could reach the US states of Hawaii or Alaska, Admiral Mike Mullen told CNN: “In some cases, yes, they could probably get down to Hawaii.”
International concern has been mounting about North Korea’s announcement it would launch a communications satellite between April 4 and 8. The United States, Japan and other allies believe Pyongyang is using the launch to test a ballistic missile that could, in theory, cross the Pacific to reach North America.
The launch, combined with North Korea’s atomic weapons, were cause for serious concern, the admiral said. Mullen added the regime’s missiles did not yet have a range that could strike the western coast of the US mainland.
Arms experts say North Korea has yet to demonstrate it has the ability to construct and fit a nuclear warhead onto a missile.
The launch, even if it is for a satellite as announced by North Korea, would help the regime in developing a long-range missile threat, said Mullen, the chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff…

Because of International Laws and U.N Law, The terrorist status, repressive nation of North korea is being watched and monitored around the world in a more especial way.
Supposed that the North korean rocket fails again, they will try again and again until 1% genius wins over the wall. After the rocket is off then Japan blows it up. Then what?. War!?.
Philosophy and Science would track the rocket, if it fails at 1000 feet, philosophy would describe it in simpler terms, but if the rocket passes the test then science would determine size, velocity, wind direction, speed, altitude, effectiveness and death ratio, contamination etc.etc..
When Japan blows up that N.k. rocket between the 4th and 8th of April 2009, South korea is in more danger than Japan and the last time in 1950-53 The Korean War left some 10 million People dead. How many will die if North korea invades and Red China helps them again. Is Fabian ready (underground).
War would leave countless millions dead and the aftermath or probable radiation, famines and plagues.
South korea is a U.N. Command and Americans live there and work there, so why not work to Unite the koreas instead of killing millions of peoples.
Birth control and desalination plants could heal population growth and also the future droughts from heat waves and “Green House Poison Gases”.
