A medical expert believes the decision by President Bush to lift America’s ban on HIV positive visitors and immigrants could “cause damage to thousands of Americans.”

The Human Rights Campaign and other homosexual advocacy groups have praised President Bush for repealing a law that barred foreign nationals with HIV from entering the United States. Dr. John Diggs, an internal medicine physician in western Massachusetts, says it is reasonable to impose travel restrictions on people who have contagious diseases.

“With our level of illegal immigration, what has happened is that we’ve started to import drug-resistant strains of tuberculosis and other contagious infectious diseases that are dangerous to United States citizens,” warns Diggs…
